The East Gate Cafe and Brasserie is situated on the Tavy Riverside and offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Outside has an extensive seating area next to the River Tavy where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of Tavistock. Inside the Brasserie is light and modern and offers an extensive menu to suit every taste. Dishes include Freshly Filled Organic Baguettes, Paninis, Fresh Pasta and Pizza and a selection of fresh homemade specials every day. We offer an Early Bird menu served from 9.30am until 11am and have special children's meals available.

We are open from 9.30am until 5pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 4pm on Sundays. We look forward to welcoming you to the East Gate Cafe and Brasserie.

The Original Pasty House serves 14 different flavours of pasty - including 5 vegetarian options. We have an extensive salad bar. We also sell freshly baked and filled baguettes and jacket potatoes, plus great coffee. Pleasant service in a contemporary style restaurant environment.
